Motorola Razr 60 Ultra Full Review

PointlixSmartphone6 months ago

Following a wave of recent leaks revealing the design of the upcoming Motorola Razr 60 Ultra—expected to launch in North America as the Razr+ (2025)—we now have what appears to be the full spec sheet for the device. Let’s dive into the details.

Display

The Razr 60 Ultra will feature a 7-inch 1440p LTPO AMOLED folding display with a 165 Hz refresh rate, 300 Hz touch response rate in gaming mode, and 130 Hz touch response in regular use. Impressively, it boasts a peak brightness of 4,500 nits, making it one of the brightest displays on any foldable to date.

The cover display isn’t being left behind either. It’s a 4-inch LTPO AMOLED panel, also with a 165 Hz refresh rate, 130/300 Hz touch response rate, and up to 3,000 nits of peak brightness—ideal for use in bright sunlight.

Performance & Storage

Powering the Razr 60 Ultra is the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, confirmed via benchmark leaks. It’s paired with a generous 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage, promising top-tier performance and speedy data access.

Cameras

On the rear, the Razr 60 Ultra sports a 50 MP main camera with OIS and an f/1.8 aperture, alongside a 50 MP ultrawide sensor with macro capabilities. Notably, Motorola has replaced the telephoto lens from the previous model with this ultrawide sensor. For selfies, you’re looking at another 50 MP front-facing camera, making it a triple 50 MP setup across the board.

Battery & Charging

The device is backed by a 4,700 mAh battery, supporting 68W wired charging and 30W wireless charging—a solid combo for a foldable phone.

Software & Dimensions

It will run Android 15 out of the box and measures 171.48 x 73.99 x 7.29 mm when unfolded, with a weight of 199 grams.

Launch

Motorola is expected to officially unveil the Razr 60 Ultra on April 24, alongside the regular Razr 60, and potentially a new Edge 60 model.
